Goodall, Jane

Jane Goodall is well-known as a hero in the field of wildlife conservation. She has been doing extraordinary work in chimpanzee research and conservation for fifty years and has received scores of international honors and awards. She has also published many books for adults and children.
Dr. Goodall spends 300 days a year “on the road,” giving talks about the plight of chimpanzees and their forests, other environmental problems, and developing her program for youth, Jane Goodall’s ROOTS & SHOOTS. In between she finds time to write at her house in England, and twice a year she still visits Gombe Stream Research Center in Tanzania.
